Movement can feel like a luxury and is so important.

Spring is the perfect time to get more active. In Ash Vale we have the beautiful Basingstoke canal to enjoy. Regular walking is beneficial in so many ways including: 

+ Maintain a healthy weight and lose body fat

+ Prevent or manage various conditions, including heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, cancer and type 2 diabetes

+ Improve cardiovascular fitness

+ Strengthen your bones and muscles

+ Improve muscle endurance

+ Increase energy levels

+ Improve your mood, cognition, memory and sleep

+ Improve your balance and coordination

+ Strengthen immune system

+ Reduce stress and tension

Or have you considered doing a Couch to 5k? There’s an NHS app to talk you through it, you just need to get some appropriate footwear on and some headphones and you’re good to go. 

I’ve started outdoor coaching and it’s such a blessing to be in nature while helping clients change their mindsets and design besoke actions to reach their goals in a matter of months.
