Going greener for Lent? Please plant some trees! Amaha We Uganda is working towards the long term goal of 13 tree nurseries across the South Rwenzori area of Uganda. Why not calculate your carbon footprint this month, try to reduce it, and offset the rest? We suggest a minimum donation of £1 per tree, or if you feel you would like to sponsor a whole tree nursery, we suggest a minimum donation of £500. (Costs vary depending on the site accessibility and conditions). William attends our Zoom services all the way from Uganda at St Mary’s every Sunday and you can see his team at work on the charity website: www.amahaweuganda.org you can donate via their website or you can give via St Mary’s ‘Give a Little’ page for us to pass on to Amaha We Uganda https://tinyurl.com/UgandaDonations
40 Acts – Kids Lent Challenge: #ChapelKids will be giving this a go, trying to do a few things from this list at The Chapel, and taking the rest home to try. Why not join us and see how generously you can do lent this year? https://40acts.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/40acts_kids_wall_plan.pdf
